On the last day of February each year, the Steve Waugh Foundation, its partners, grant recipients and volunteers come together to mark World Rare Disease Day, a day to raise awareness among the general public and decision-makers about rare diseases and their impact on patients' lives.

For us, Rare Disease Day represents a chance to raise awareness by bringing our grant recipients together, allowing them the opportunity to connect with one another, initiate friendships and share their stories in an experience that can't be valued in dollars.

What does Rare Disease Day mean to you? Fill in the form below and we'll share your thoughts on social media.
