Sounds of Sydney 2009

The Sydney Cove Rotary Club generously presented the Sounds of Sydney 09 “Best of Broadway” concert to raise funds for the Steve Waugh Foundation.

It was a great evening entertainment led by renowned and acclaimed singers Peter Cousens, Jane Rutter, Sharolyn Kimmorley, Amelia Farrugia and Dominica Matthews, who performed songs from musicals such as “Wicked”, “Chicago”, “Phantom of the Opera” and “West Side Story” to name a few. The Conservatorium High School Ensemble and VOX Choir also performed at the show, which was held at City Recital Hall, Angel Place, on Sunday 16th August 2009.

Our VIP guests were treated to a pre-show cocktail party and dinner with Steve Waugh at Surjits Indian Restaurant.
