A dynamo of passion, spirit and fun, Christine owns her own business
called Southern Sports and Health Massage. When Steve Waugh retired
from International cricket and started his Foundation in Australia,
Christine wanted to help.
The Foundation supports Christine who spends three Fridays of every
month as the massage therapist for staff and parents of children
supported by the Foundation at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.
When things are tough, the people who are there for our kids deserve a
little ‘love’ and ‘time-out’ of their own.
The Children’s Hospital at Westmead in 2008, acknowledged Christine’s
fantastic contribution awarding her the Judge’s Choice Award for
Capacity Building and Strengthening Vulnerable Families.
Soon Christine will also extend her ‘magic hands’ and support to the Sydney Children’s Hospital.
Christine is a true ‘champion’ looking after the mums, dads, and Hospital staff of our children who need ‘somewhere to turn’.
